After fighting in Afghanistan, U.S. Marine Gabriel Drummer comes home to a world he no longer knows. He is on a desperate search to find his wife, Natalie, and his son, Johnny. While searching reflects on

  • Basic training with his best friend and fellow Marine, Devin Roberts
  • Saying goodbye to his family before being deployed
  • Sitting with the military psychiatrist
  • His last day of battle

He will do anything to save his son and bring him home safe. The battle is real.

Its hard to give a synopsis without revealing too much about the movie. You will feel a sense that you are missing something bigger … and you are. The story, although not linear, is told in a way to draw you into Gabriel’s love, hope, pain, and lost. This movie shows that “Man Down” has 2 meanings for Gabriel and his son. You will be reminded of Shia LaBeouf’s remarkable talents. And don’t be surprised if you want to watch it twice to catch everything you missed. Wonderful cinematography and a great cast. Don’t read about it … watch it. Just remember, what you are seeing is real.
